I work with dance artists and labels to find the vocal that gives a record its identity. From the first topline to the final mix, I shape melody, delivery and detail around the artist and the track. The performance should feel immediate, human and unmistakably right for the song.
I can help develop the hook, lyrics and melody, then guide the singer through the performance. Through HitVocals, I can connect a project with writers and vocalists who bring the right character to it.
Comping, tuning, timing and vocal mixing are handled in detail, with the emotion of the take at the centre. Every edit should support the performance and help it sit naturally in the record.
I’ve spent years writing, recording and shaping vocals for dance records, working with producers including Vintage Culture, Don Diablo, Todd Terry and Kaskade. My credits include co-writing and vocal work on Vintage Culture’s “Butterflies” featuring Tristan Henry.
